Clif Williams is a 3rd generation San Diegan, and feels like he is returning to his roots in Del Mar. Clif grew up in San Diego, but as a kid, Clif attended Del Mar Daycare and has spent many days bodysurfing on Del Mar beaches, first as a kid, and now with his two sons. Clif was introduced to Yoga a year and a half ago when he was looking for pain relief caused by running and cross-fit. What he discovered was a practice that relieved the pain, but also reduced stress, and opened the mind to creativity and positive thinking. He was hooked, and wanted to find ways to share and promote the amazing benefits of yoga within the larger community. At his day job, Clif works in land development, but loves to be on the mat.
Tristen Campanella recently sold her yoga studio in San Elijo Hills to look for new opportunities on the coast. She has been teaching for over 12 years and brings a wide variety of styles into her classes. She is inspired to help students generate more prana (energy) through flowing and rhythmically moving their bodies. Tristen believes that yoga can help everyone live more inspired and pain free lives. Tristen is also is passionate to help people age well and live fully. Her passion of helping students live authentically and feel good in their bodies touches those she meets. Tristen & Clif live in San Diego with their 5 kids. You can find them eating at fun restaurants and breweries, hiking their dog Bella, or right on the mat next to you.
Tristen believes there is no right and wrong way to do yoga, only what feels good to you in your body, mind and spirit. Tristen is energetic, open and excited to be directing Bindu Yoga Studio.
